Alaska Backwoods Lawyer - Another Alaskan Blawg
Attorney Paul Bratton and paralegal Judy Price run a law practice in their Chunilna Creek homestead in the MatSu Borough. They also host a blog, called Alaska Backwoods Lawyer. Started just in May of this year, the entries so far cover not only legal issues (Exxon Valdez, commercial fishing, consumer problems), but also life on a homestead.
Here’s how they describe themselves, and their law practice:
After working for decades as commercial salmon fishers and citizen activists, we now practice consumer rights, environmental, and personal injury law from our remote wilderness homestead in the Alaska backwoods.
Our office is one of the few in Alaska that handles consumer cases on a regular basis. From Homer to Fairbanks, we represent clients on Fair Debt Collection, lemon law and other consumer claims. We also negotiate, and litigate if necessary, statewide environmental and constitutional law issues, as well as insurance and personal injury cases.
