And in Hutton v. City of Fairbanks, 4:08-cv-00029-RRB (D.Alaska), plaintiff’s attorney Linda Johnson has moved to disqualify defense counsel Joe Evans on the grounds that Evans, who conducted the internal investigation of plaintiff’s charges, is a likely witness in the litigation.  Hutton’s Complaint contends that the City demoted him in retaliation for raising concerns about pay, equipment, officer training, and nepotism, and thereby violated Section 1983.
