An en banc panel from the 9th Circuit has held that states have no Eleventh Amendment immunity from claims under the 1991 Government Employee Rights Act. The case arose from EEOC complaints filed by Margaret Ward and Lydia Jones, who worked in the office of then-Governor Walter Hickel, of Alaska. More later.
