Providence Medical Center Settles ADEA Case
Back in 2006, the Seattle office of the EEOC sued Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage on behalf of five former employees, who claimed that the Center had violated the ADEA by failing to rehire them after layoff. The agency and the Center have now settled the matter, and will shortly file a Consent Decree.
EEOC v. Providence Health System, 3:06-cv-00146 (D.Alaska).
John Freeman Stanley of the Seattle EEOC office represents the agency. Robert Stewart from the Anchorage office of Davis Wright represents the hospital.
