Employer Wins Retal/Good Faith Suit
An Anchorage jury returned a defense verdict in a suit that charged that ASRC Energy Services fired Kenneth Fett because of his report of safety and public concerns to AES and to Alyeska Pipeline Service Company. Fett alleged state claims of retaliatory discharge and breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing. The jury deliberated for three hours, after a six-day trial February 8 - 16.
It was Superior Court Judge Frank Pfiffner’s first jury trial.
